Biography

Mr. Ho was the Lead Consultant specialized in the field of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), who started up a team to operate the Hongkong Post Certification Authority (HKPCA) when Hongkong Post on the first attempt to out-source all of the digital certificate (e-Cert) operations and services with private sector participation back in 2007. Mr. Ho and his team then continuously run the Hongkong Post e-Cert services for over 14 years up to present. Since 2009, Mr. Ho has been walking HKPCA through the root inclusion process of Microsoft, Mozilla, Google, Apple and Adobe…etc. HKPCA’s root certificates are currently trusted by default in the major browsers or products of Microsoft, Mozilla, Google, Apple and Adobe. In 2013, Mr. Ho assisted Thailand to commence operation of the national root certification authority. A year later, Thailand was awarded the first WebTrust for Certification Authority audit seal. Mr. Ho’s interest areas include public key cryptography, WebTrust audit criteria for certification authorities, laws and practice with respect to digital certificate, e-ID, self-sovereign identity and other public key infrastructure (PKI) related business.

Sheung-Chi Ng is the Director of Pre-sales Engineering, APAC. He is currently leading a team of Sales Engineer to provide security consultant services to customer as well as partner for Utimaco in the region.

He has joined Utimaco as Director of Pre-sales Engineering in 2019 and possesses solid knowledge in both mobile and internet security from solution development/architect to security review & analysis. He got involved in various information security related projects such as fingerprint recognition algorithm development, Mobile internet security platform protocol design, WAP-based security platform development and Smart-Card-based or HSM-based PKI application design/development. Besides, he has participated in a lot of Gov, FSI and Large enterprises projects to provide security consulting, cryptographic solution design & integration and implementation services. He possesses deep understanding of various security regulation/framework & compliance requirement such as regulation from HKMA, MAS, PCI-DSS and GPDR and etc. He is also a seasoned speaker in information security seminar/summit across the region.

He received the Bachelor of Engineering degree and Master of Philosophy degree, all from Electrical and Electronic Engineering department in The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He also received a Diploma degree of Information and Internet security from The City University of Hong Kong. He is now a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).

Biography

Marshall Pribadi is the founder and CEO of PrivyID. Marshall joined the University of Indonesia’s Faculty of Economics and Business in 2008. He later dropped out and enrolled in the Faculty of Law of University of Indonesia in 2010, graduating from the faculty in 2014. Marshall has also attended a series of workshops on entrepreneurship at Flinders University, Australia, as part of his privilege as one of the Australian Award recipients in 2018.

Marshall founded PrivyID in 2016. PrivyID was established to provide a universally-accepted digital identity system for its users. PrivyID is also Indonesia’s first legally-binding digital signature solution provider. Any electronic document signed using PrivyID has the same legal power and consequence as a conventional signature. Marshall is also the chairman of Indonesia Regtech and Lawtech Association, an association that was established in 2017 with a mission to improve awareness and educate of law for Indonesian people.

In 2017, Marshall was selected as one of Forbes Asia 30 Under 30. Marshall also received The Most Promising Fintech Entrepreneur award by Danamon in the same year. Poon Shou Xin is part of the team delivering Singapore’s national digital identity, one of Singapore’s five strategic national projects for Smart Nation announced in 2017. This nation digital identity will be a nationally-available means for an individual to prove his legal identity in the online realm. It also serves as a digital infrastructure for public and private sectors to build upon and co-create digital services on a universal trust framework for identity, authentication, consent, authorisation, digital signatures, eKYC and data platforms.

As Head of the Industry Engagement Office, National Digital Identity, GovTech, Poon oversees the on-boarding of private and public sector organisations to this national digital identity ecosystem of trust, digitally empowering organisations through seamless customer registration, frictionless customer authentication, digitally signing of documents, instant customer verification and more.

Prior to joining the Public Service in 2014, Poon served in a product management role in private sector MNCs.

Sanjay commenced his career in 1991 with Touche Ross & Co in the UK, and proceeded to roles at Ernst & Young in the UK and in Poland. Over a 10-year period, Sanjay executed roles in statutory audit, IT audit, data analytics, and investigations/special audits for clients in heavy manufacturing, oil & gas, retail, financial services, airport operations and local government.

Through the subsequent 11 years, Sanjay held internal audit leadership roles at a number of Fortune 500 companies, based in the Netherlands, and with responsibility for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Sanjay joined BDO upon his return to Malaysia in 2012.
